  1. Hello Sherry!! I’m looking forward to soaking up ideas from you about transforming my living space into something more supportive and less stress inducing. Here’s a question: My husband is very messy. I married Charlie Brown’s friend Pig Pen. Wherever he goes, whatever he touches, trash and messy things appear. I have learned to just accept this, pick up after him only as much as it relieves my own stress, and leave the rest. Do you have any suggestions on ways to allow his messy energy in our shared little house and just let it happen while also encouraging healthy energy to flow?
    Many thanks,
    Lara

    1. I have the same question except the problem is me and myself. Lol. I’ve had to learn to accept living in a messy house, and despite having lots of great ideas I feel like I’ll never get to them because I just have to do the daily daily and just keep it at least hygienic. It’s taking a lot of self work just to accept this as how it is but of course it’s not what I want really.

      1. Peaceful Greetings Helena,

The reasons we accumulate clutter is complex and varied, but it often boils down to this: we create an attachment to certain items and this makes it difficult to release the items from our homes. I would suggest that you mentally prepare to refresh and rejuvenate your home. Know within yourself that you believe that a beautifully organized home will benefit you. Find out what motivates you. Consider some ways to energize yourself and create enthusiasm and take on the project starting one room at a time.

        In Peace,

        Sherry

    2. Hi Lara,

Thank you for your message. I am married to a Pig Pen too LOL. I believe in living by example. Do what you can to keep your home zen, decluttered etc. Reinforce your self care and practice non attachment to results, be compassionate.
